For Alto Saxophone and Fixed Media

This piece takes the incredibly unpredictable sounds from a no-input mixer and recontextualizes them with melodic fragments delivered by the saxophone. In between these fragments the saxophone tries its best to mimic the sounds of the mixer as well. The two instruments swing back and forth between these areas before finally ending in absolute chaos. In a way, you can imagine the saxophone being trapped in the infinite feedback loop that no-input mixers create!
